About the Founder

Forefront Design was founded by Jeremy Maendel in 2005. The path to web designer was a circuitous one that combined left-brain and right-brain formal training which converged on a clear direction right in the middle. His formal training began with computer engineering. After a few years of engineering school, he felt as through there was still an important element missing and the course began to change. It started with his first Graphic Design class. It was there that the spark began to grow.

After changing schools and changing directions, he emerged with a degree in Graphic Design, where he learned the fundamentals of good design. The importance of the grid and of the lineups, but most importantly, the demanding and critical eye of a designer. From there he continued to develop his design skills while also advancing his technical background, which led to his degree in Management Information Systems.
